Service Configuration

The first consideration is the number and/or type of services that the retailer wishes to be displayed to a consumer, this could include; Next Day, 2-3 Day, Saturday, Evening, Click and Collect. Once the mix of services has been decided, they can be created and defined within the Management Console. To create a new service, press the New button within the service default settings.

Create a service name i.e. Next Day, and define the minimum and maximum days for delivery after despatch.

Choose a carrier to be used for the service from the drop down menu, the system will produce a list of services available for the selected carrier. Choose the appropriate service from the menu and enter the cost of the service to be displayed to the consumer.

 

Tick the Active box to enable the service.

Once the service has been defined, it is possible to use the system, however, additional service rules may be beneficial
